Hi everyone. A few months ago, I launched
www.teachingenglishmadeeasy.com , a website to promote a new
series of books that I am writing. The title of the series is
called, as you guessed, Teaching English Made Easy! The title of
the first book is 10 Listening Lesson Plans for the English
Language Classroom.
Thus far, learning how to self-publish has been an amazing
and educational journey for me. I never knew how easy it was to publish
on your own. Sure, you do not get the advertising muscle you
would with an already established company. However, you do get
to learn a lot like how to get your own ISBN number, how to
create your own cover, how to market, etc. Also, I feel as
though by self-publishing, I can actually have more interaction
with teachers around the world than I could if a major company
decided to pick the book up.
I am currently writing the second book of this series. While
the first book focused on providing ESL and EFL teachers with listening
lesson plans, the second one focuses on
teaching writing to English language learners, both in the ESL
and EFL environment. The second book is entitled Teaching
Writing to English Language Learners. I hope to have
the book completed, printed, and ready to be distributed by
